Alright, I just happened to be at the opening night of a new club here in Northampton called Bibliotec with a couple of mates (Tim & Chris) and they had a new band night called Gravy.
Anyway they had a couple of local band on, when all of a sudden this bizzare bunch of young lads came on stage ( I say stage, but actually it was a corner of the dancefloor) who called themselves The Dandilions. This motly crew had travelled from Leicester, not far I know from Northampton, but apparantly, the manager forgot to fill the bloody car up with petrol and of course they broke down. I know this cause they kept taking the piss out of him throughout the set. These boys are not gonna let a manager get away with that sort of thing.

Anyhow, the band came on stage (as I said earlier) and after the first few opening chords had me grinnin like a T**T throughout the whole set, which was infectious. They cleaverly crafted a mixture of Ska/Reggae/PopPunk rhythms with a most bizzare guitar sound the likes of which I havent heard since I first picked up a west 1960's african album by a guy called S. E. Rouge.
And this is from a bunch of lads no older than about 18 years.

Anyhow, I'm gonna cut the crap and let you download the demo I managed to pickup of the manager. Just remember, you aint never heard anything like these guys and if there is any justice in the world you will be seeing them at the festivals somewhere and sometime this year.
